In the film industry there is a variety of companies that compete against each. They each have different logo's which show the difference between the companies and when you see the logo , the audience automatically knows what to expect from the company. One of these production company is Warner Bros which is part of Time Warner which is a multi-conglomerates company.
This is a example of a title sequence produced my Warner Bros for Harry Potter. This title sequence starts off by zooming in onto the logo through the clouds and slowly reviling the production logs. It then parts so then we can see the logo clearly. They use the colour red to signify the danger that will possibly occur throughout the film, the logo then spins to while the animation is constantly moving forward to shows the main title of the film. Warner Bros are known for producing films such as Harry Potter, Batman, The Hobbit and many more. Most of these films that are created by Warner Bros are action, drama or cartoon films that are targeted at certain audiences to try and get their attention. Another production logo is Walt Disney Pictures.
They had designed this production logo by thinking of who they are at aiming at as an audience. This logo first appears by slowly drawing attention to the castle with the music that introduces the magic that is about to occur. The atmosphere of the logo is magical as the castle is surrounding by fireworks and by a sparkle that arcs over the whole scene. The logo is white and contrast to the dark blue background with a hint of red as it sparkles to create an entrance. The word moves in at the same time and appear when the sparkles form so they gradually get darker to stand out against the scene so that you remember the company. Walt Disney Pictures produce films that are mainly targeted at children as well as young teenagers as they know that they will enjoy these films as they are still at a age where everything is magical to them. An example of these movies are Pirates of the Caribbean,Lion King, Chicken Little and many more. Walt Disney is well known for their production of Disney Princesses and other cartoons that are targeted at children however do produce real life films of tales such as Cinderella and Maleficent to attract an older audience.
Another production logo is 20th Century Fox.
Although the logo does not move, it still captures the audiences attention as using spotlights to circle around the sign which displays it importance by standing out against the scene and being big. This imposes the idea that it is better than any other production logo and that it is a significant company to remember. The use of gold shows that it will always stand out against every other company and that it has been around for a significant amount of time so will be able to produce films that are worthwhile. 20th Century Fox is well known for producing films such as Avatar, Titanic, X-Men, Alvin and the Chipmunks and many more movies that are aimed at a range of different target audiences so that they get them to come and watch their films.
